Donasol aims to enhance the well-being of underserved individuals in Vieques by providing essential medical and home supplies, as well as connecting them to available community resources.
To achieve this, we commit to collaborating with community members, organizations, local agencies, and businesses, and to providing training for youth and volunteers, while coordinating a mutual aid network that empowers and connects community members and strengthens the local economy.
What We Do:
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Loan Closet: We loan essential medical supplies at no cost, making sure everyone can access the equipment they need for better health and mobility.
Donation Program: We gather and share household items, furniture, and appliances, helping families get the essentials to create a more comfortable living space.
Community Resource Connection: We guide residents through local support services, connecting them with resources that improve their quality of life and strengthen community ties.

Simple Home Renovations
Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we've made significant strides in helping Don Remache, an elderly resident of our island. With the funds raised, we successfully built him an outhouse. This vital addition to his home will provide the sanitation and dignity he deserves.
